Troop visits library gallery

Malden's public library is a historically significant building with a very unique story. Built by the Converse family (yes, *that Converse) as a memorial to their slain son, the library houses not only books, but a remarkable art collection and gallery. The building itself was designed and built by famed architect H.H. Richardson in 1883 and furnished by the Davenport furniture company.

The library is really something to see, and worth a visit. The Troop too a tour and was sufficiently wowwed by the art and current World War I exhibit.
