Scotty's Island June 2016

Troop 603 Scouts took their end-of-year trip up to Scotty's Island this past weekend, and spent the whole day Saturday in Province Lake, swimming, horsing about, and bombing around on jet skis. What a blast!

Saturday night, we conducted a flag retirement ceremony for several flags owned by the Saugus Elks Club. It was a meaningful opportunity for the boys to learn the proper way to retire a flag. Each of the boys received a small container of the ashes at our end-of-year family night.

Chef Topian showed up with a smoker, of all things! Some smoked prime rib, anyone?! This is camping!
